Kaylie Hutton, Charleston HS Class of 2023
Kaylie's photo session was so creative! It was extra helpful that her mom was so on board for all of the ideas! First stop was at the Japan House in Urbana, IL! Kaylie rocked three different outfits in this location alone and it was so cool! If you've ever been to this area, you know that there are always a lot of eyes on you while you take photos (especially goose eyes!), but it's completely worth it. What a beautiful backdrop in such a busy city!
After we left Urbana, we headed to the infamous Graffiti wall in Charleston. Kaylie pulled out a show stopping dress and posed with her beloved VW Bug. Every photographer's dream! She changed into the cutest blue and black crop top with black jeans and we did more of an urban look-which is so cool in our little town!
After a short Michael Jackson themed shoot on the square, we headed to the tennis courts at the high school for some really fun (and really hilarious) action shots! Kaylie has an overhand serve that I envy.
Last, but certainly not least, we threw paint all over Kaylie and took some killer shots! Kaylie endured paint on her face, all over her dress (yea, it's ruined), and in her hair to get these photos and we're all so grateful that she and her mom loved it as much as we did!
Kaylie's hair and makeup were done by the very talented Angelia Smyser of The Front Porch Salon just North of Charleston, IL. I cannot begin to explain to people the difference it makes when you have a professional do your makeup...just wow. And it stayed through our entire adventure, including her eyelashes! Working exclusively with our studio, Angelia has quickly become a vital part of our team. If you're looking to upgrade your experience, we highly recommend adding her services to your session.
